Montessori Programs

MommyCare Montessori offers Primary Montessori Program in a unique, mixed-age classroom environment for children 2.5 to 5 years old. Our Montessori curriculum covers Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, Music and Arts, and Cultural Studies and Science that are specifically designed to help children reach their fullest potential at their own pace. Besides, we offer enrichment programs of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, cooking and gardening. Through collaborative learning, children within our program will learn skills that will foster incredible success throughout their lifetime.

Practical Life
Our Practical Life activities are designed to practice fine motor skill, concentration, motor control and coordination, independence, and a sense of responsibility through normal everyday activities.
Sensorial
Our Montessori Sensorial materials help children develop and refine their five senses and teach them to distinguish, categorize, and relate new information to what they already know.
Language Arts
Our Montessori language activities include oral language, written language, handwriting, reading, reading analysis, and cultural work related to language. We also have a 1000+ book before kindergarten reading program for our students.
Math
Our Montessori Math activities use concrete materials that can be visual and tactile representations of the numbers to introduce abstract concepts and give a sequential understanding of mathematical concepts. It is the best possible foundation your child can get for being comfortable and competent in the world of numbers.
Social Studies & Geography
Our Montessori classroom provides an unique opportunity to cultivate the child's curiosity of the world around them. We introduce Integrated Social Studies and Geography to children in the early years and topics range from human society, culture, history, people, geography and more.
Science
Montessori Science activities allow children to learn about the world around them while simultaneously engaging their sense of wonder, preparing them for a lifetime of discovery. Topics range from how the world began to the basic principles of astronomy, botany, chemistry, physics, and zoology.

Reggio Emilia Activity
We introduce Reggio Emilia teaching approach in the class and offer various mediums to allow for open-ended exploration of art, science, sensory and more. In this process, it offers infinite ways that children can freely express, explore, and connect their thoughts, feelings and imaginings in 100 languages.
Gardening
We offer gardening programs allow children combine planting, tending, and harvesting with craft making and creative play. Through gardening, we encourage hands-on curiosity and discovery. It can offer children an opportunity to learn the life cycle process, increase their awareness of where food comes from and the importance of the environment in everyday life.
Foreign Languages
There are many advantages to raising a bilingual child. Research has shown that bilingual children have an advantage when it comes to key skills they'll need and use throughout their life. We introduce Mandarin Chinese and Spanish class through formal group learning and individual activities.
Cooking Class
Cooking teaches children so many skills that will give them a better future. Cooking not only develops fine motor skills, coordination, and sense of sequence, but also builds math skills and teaches children science. It also helps them learn cooperation and taking turns in a group setting. We offer cooking class every week to teach children how to cook through step-by-step instructions.
